Deren Getz is a Location Manager and Location Scout primarily in the New York Tri-State area. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the film industry.
He has worked on television commercials, music videos, still photography, special events, television shows and motion pictures.
He has been featured in the New York Times and New York Magazine . His photograph of Rockefeller Center is on the cover of the 2011 NY411.
He is a member of the Association of Location Scouts and Managers (ALSAM) as well at the Theatrical Teamsters Local 817. He handles everything from finding locations, permitting, parking and managing.
He works on big high profile jobs to small "no permit required" shoots.
