Getz Locations

Deren Getz is a Location Manager and Location Scout primarily in the New York Tri-State area. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the film industry. He has worked on television commercials, music videos, still photography, special events, television shows and motion pictures . He has been featured in the New York Times and New York Magazine. His photograph of Rockefeller Center is on the cover of the 2011 NY411. He is a member of the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI), Association of Location Scouts and Managers (ALSAM) as well as a founding locations member of the Theatrical Teamsters Local 817. He handles everything from finding locations, permitting, arranging parking and location managing.

He works on big high profile jobs, managing stage shoots with on street parking and even small "no permit required" shoots.

With Non-AICP companies he is very familiar the location department specific "one-off" for a single project and the low budget agreement.
